10th Grade

10th Grade (ages 15 to 16)

In the 10th grade, a student should have a fundamental understanding of how to succeed in their learning environment. The student will have begun the 10th grade with a solid understanding of direction for their post-secondary plan. Because many post-secondary institutions look at the 10th and 11th grade to determine eligibility into a college or trade school program, it is very important that the student do their best (academics & extracurricular activities) to properly prepare them to apply to these colleges and trade schools.

In the 10th grade a student should be focusing on taking a leadership role or applying more effort to succeed in the environment in which they maintain. ABC Guidance will assist the student in motivation, support, and confidence in the decisions that are being made for their educational and career future.
